I'm a new user and I'm having trouble with this:
The plan view of this doesn't seam to be working the way I want it.
How can I make these "wall" wooden elements not to appear through the top horizontal wood?
As you can see in the section the top wood is above all the others, but in the plan view it looks like not.

I am assuming that you have used the slab tool to model the horizontal wood.
By default a slab does not have a cover fill.
However you can turn on the cover fill in the slab floor plan settings - make it solid white if you do not want to see it but want it to hide other elements.
You may need to use the 'Display Order' (forwards and backwards) to arrange your elements in plan as they have a default display order that has nothing to do with their position in 3D.

There was a discussion we had just a little while ago that has some link to some HelpCentre articles.
