I placed a group of breeze blocks using the ventilation brick in the windows tool but the model and section views don't work, attached is a screen shot of how its set and what I see once placed. It's usually some simple setting or button I've failed to click but I'll spends days or weeks trying to figure it out.
Any idea how to fix?

Have a look in your Model View Options at the Detail Level for Doors & Windows.
Set the plan and 3D options to FULL.
I have no idea why they are set to symbolic as default.

You can also change it locally if you do not want to change the detail of the rest of your windows

What version of Archicad is that?
I think this option was taken away in 28/29.
It now only exists in the MVO settings.
This is what I see in 29.

This was in 29. I think it was reinstated in the 2nd library update for 28. The 29 library should incude it by default.
ps. The library version should really show on the about page...

That is interesting.
I have 29 update 1 installed (build 3533.3501).
That should have all of the 28 updates as well - at least you would think so.
When I open 28, which has library update 2 ( I have not installed library update 3 for 28), that 3D detail level is there.
Either I am doing something wrong, it disappeared in 28 update 3 which I haven't installed, or the 29 library is actually a regression or Graphisoft have taken away this option now in 29.
In 29 I definitely have the 29 library packs loaded.
And in 28 I have the 28 library packs.
I just loaded the 29 library packs in 28, and it is definitely gone.
I will check later to make sure my 29 library is indeed up to date, but is shows I have the latest build.

Oh, I just check which libraries are loaded, and my files appear to be loading from the AC28 folder... Sounds like a regression, so much for global... The only library update for AC29 was specific to AC29, which is already an "oh boy" moment...
Ling.
Check for update => Libraries are up to date => Up to date libraries are not the libraries that area loaded, or maybe it is just seeing that the AC28 libraries are up to date... Though by the sounds of it, sticking with the AC28 libraries seems like the better idea...
