Wall \ floor tiling object

Hello guys
So, iwas working on a project, i had to make bathroom tiling layout, and i should schedule tiling to get tile name, and surface
There are 2 scenarios to achieve this :

1- if you are looking for quantities you should work with walls, fills can't be schedueled when placed in elevation, you asign a surface with vectorial hatch to see it in interior elevation, the problem here is that the hatch origin can't be easily adjusted

2- you work with fills, you can achieve a good looking tilework, but you can't schedule it

I tried with morph surface, same problem, editing the tile start point

Archicad schedule things placed on plan or 3d, not elevations

My main idea is :
Scripting a gdl plan, wich can be placed on facade, resized, the object have a surface associated with a vectorial fill so it can be visible on facade, the fill origin can be adjusted with a control poin , so it's a 3d element and could be schedueled to get surface name, fill name, fill 2d preview, and of course surface

I don't know anything about gdl, can someone please take the idea and script the object anjd shmhare it mforitor upioyaouprhicad community ! I think it's a helpfull object

Doesn't the Vertorial Fill Origin match that of the surface? So you can use the Set 3D texture origin option.

I have heard of users in the past applying the curtain wall tool for tiling. With recent upgrades it is quite adaptable and I believe capable of being scheduled. Might be worth a look.

Thanks all for the reply
for the alighn texture to origin, this will not work if i use a complex profile with multiple surfaces, and each surface should be aligned alone,
yes curtain wall would be a great option, but for quick jobs it won't be a good solution i think !

In regards to a Complex Profile, an object will not change this though. Increased complexity for no gain...

I am just trying out Eptar, because of this comment (so thanks, Richard). I played a bit in demo, with a bit of concern because they haven't updated it since 2014 and generally I don't like the upgrade, compatibility, and desperate need for revising procedures third-party library objects sooner or later bring on (it works with slab and wall surfacer so it is not a self-standing add-on, which is good in this respect). It doesn't do a few things I wish it did, and some fairly ordinary solutions require workarounds etc. I am having an issue with floor and wall tiling looking different when using the same texture, and at this point I think it is a bug, perhaps a Mac compatibility bug. But with all that I bought it fairly immediately. At EUR 49 it more than pays for itself in a single project, or even presentation. I wish I had known of it before.

Cigraph updated their tools to AC23 back in October. Whether anything actually changed is a different question. I have only ever used their ArchiTerra tool which still feels the same to me...
