Hello,
Does anyone know what the globals "wall_max_height" and
"wall_min_height" refer to in wall parameters- available for
doors and windows ?
Thank you,
Peter Devlin
Curious myself so did a quick experiment.
The manual was a big load of help - wall_max_height" = max height of wall and "wall_min_height" = min height of wall - fantastic insight
These don't seem available for use with doors and windows - just get "0".
But in a property script for walls I did get some values.
If the wall is trimmed to a roof then the "wall_min_height" is the lower trim height and the "wall_max_height" is the upper trim height but beware of openings as in the attached picture.
The upper height is to the edge of the window hole and not the top of the wall as you would expect.
I'm sure this would be different if the window wasn't full height.
WALL_HEIGHT is of course the overall height of the wall.
This will be the same as WALL_MAX_HEIGHT if the trim passes through the top of the wall (and there are no openings).
But if the top of the trim passes through the side of the wall then these will give different values.
Hope this is of some help and I was clear enough in what I was trying to say.
