Where is the oversize parameter?

In AC10 and AC11, the 'oversize' parameter is missing in the window and door library parts...Does anyone know why? Is there a way to add this parameter to the AC11 windows?

It should be right up there among the General Settings. See the attached image for door settings. The same holds true for windows.

Are you by any chance using customised library parts?

It's still there for Storefront Doors and Windows -- I don't know that it was ever available for the other Door and Window types.

(vistap -- the US Library has a different UI)

Maybe I should get the Indian version...

It was there in v9 and earlier...

I think they introduced the "Rough Opening Extra" parameters in AC10, which might have replaced "Oversize" for windows (residential openings) as opposed to storefront (commercial openings).

Laura, I think your right...However, the rough opening extra simply adds more space to the window and doesn't create a hole. Without some additional gdl scripting with WALLHOLE(?) parameters, I'm not able to achieve the desired outcome.
I'm with a commercial firm, so we use storefront for "windows" almost exclusively; so, unfortunately, I'm afraid I can't be much help beyond this point.

No worries, thanks for your help Laura...

This is what AC10 and 11's rough opening extra does....

You do that... but beware of all the spice!

As far as I'm aware, the Indian & International versions have identical libraries. If that is not so, someone please correct me and I'll post the "Indian" doors & windows here.

Alternatively, have you tried the ACE Library?
