Who ate the Archicad Model Library

The library that came with 28 is missing all of the standard US components. It appears to be just furniture.  Supposedly there is a method to return to the US library but there is no information as to how to load this library.  Is anyone else having this issue or is no one using 28?

Hi  joelsdg,

Of course you can,

Some of the most important things for me with Archicad are that there are always multiple ways to achieve your goal, up to you to find the most effective for each case, and his great ability in creating, selecting and modifying construction elements. There's no perfect software and of course Archicad should be improved. For construction elements modeling I always try to use standard tools first as they offer more flexibility.

You're not wrong, Bruno, and I really appreciate the time you spent assembling that attachment. It does come down to one's personal preference.

I would rather manipulate one object instead of creating layer priorities, material priorities or SEOs when I used to be able to get my result through the object's settings.  That's me.  I use SEOs thoroughly, as well as your other suggestions for manipulating things when I need to do so on the project-level.  Universally, if you will, not for a few specific (in my opinion) items in the model.

How ever a person chooses to do it, I'm mostly annoyed that Graphisoft seems to be removing features that I relied on forever, so they can tout a new feature set or way of organizing libraries

That's just me, results vary.
