open stairmaker object?

In earlier version could open a stairmaker stair to edit the scripts but now it just opens the stairmaker palletes. Is it possible to access the scripts?

Sometimes i think I should write a decent GDL stair.

Stairs made with an older version need to be opened and resaved in 8.1. Open the stair tool > load other stair > from file dialog > select the old stair to open > save.

I noticed that when creating a duplicate of a stair, and when the dialog asking on wheter to edit all or the paricular one stair apears, hiting "cancel" opens the object in normal gdl editor - but still not much of editing - because AFAIR all 3d is binary
