Surfaces are Attributes.
You can use the Attribute Manager to transfer any attribute from one file to another.
You can also save an attribute file of the surfaces you want and overwrite (replace) or append (add) them into any file - this save you opening the PLN in the Attribute Manager each time and try to find the surfaces you want to add.
An attribute file will only contain just the attributes you saved into it.
