License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. transportation library

Some time in the past i downloaded the transportation library that is on the graphisoft site. I opened a file that had a car park on it and all the cars that i previously put on it from this library have disappeared. I have searched high and low on my computer for the original library and cant find it. I went to the graphisoft site to download it again and downloaded a file that had a pdf, a movie and some jpegs, but no library. Where is this library on the graphisoft site and how do i download it again. Or better still, what is the file name so I can search for it on the computer. Its bizarre as i dont remember relocating it out of the library folder and now I cant even find where i downloaded it from. Any ideas?

The file names should be in the missing library parts report that comes up when you load the libraries. Alternatively just select one of the big dots where a car should be. The name will show in the Info palette and in the settings dialog.

it cant seem to find any of the cars, th folder must have been deleted. I am sure i downloaded it from the graphisoft site in the productivity tools section. It has the images there but nowhere to download the files from. Is there somewhere in the graphisoft site that i can get them from again?

The Graphisoft website seems a bit sparse on information. They refer to several libraries but give no direct information on how to get them. There is a link to Objects Online but of course they don't sell the transportation library.

I assume you do not have ArchiCAD 7.0. The library was originally released on the 20th anniversary edition CD.

Perhaps someone from GS could chime in here with some information about the older libraries. Are they available? Is it OK to transfer them among ArchiCAD users? What are the terms of the license for their use and distribution? This has always seemed a bit of a grey area to me since library parts are included in any .pla transmitted from one user to another.

There is an AC 7 library at the GS US web site http://tr.graphisoftus.com/. Don't know if it includes the transportation objects.

i have the anniversary edition, and it had a few cars on it. The library I am talking about which I downloaded a few months ago was the one graphisoft have on their site with the 50 vehicles, boats, planes etc. Does anyone know where it is now as it seems that I have indeed deleted it with the Archicad 7 files when I got 8

Anyone had any problems with these models in AC8 or onwards ?
I just noticed that they appear with several components missing when viewed in 3D in a marquee view. Without the marquee however, they appear normal...
Any suggestions ???

apparently 3d generation by marquee is unreliable and may produce results with missing bits
