wall_direction vs beam_direction

I am having an issue in my object when outputting a wall direction and a beam direction. The issue is that the range for the wall direction is between 0 and 360 but the beam direction will go into negative numbers. There aren't any inconsistencies in my scripts.

Is this just the way they work? or is there something I can do so that the beam direction will always be between 0 and 360 like the wall direction?

No idea about how they are suppose to work, but if you are wanting to force it to be positive, could you just include a converting line in your script?

If beam_dir < 0 then
	beam_dir = beam_dir + 360
endIf
