I need your help with how to do a sectional perspective on archicad. im using the marquee tool but it only opens it in 3D, i need it to be 2D.
i.e a normal 2D section but on a perspective, showing the wall cavities, foundation, etc.
Can anyone help me with this???

If you are trying to combine a technical section with a perspective all at once, forget it.
If you want a rendered section, set up a camera view perpendicular [vertically and horizontally] to the plane you want to cut and use the marquee or the 3D cutaway to define the cutaway.
You can later combine the two views by manually overlaying a technical/analytical section on the perspective.

...and if you are using AC12 you can use a 3D Document view.
