I hope this is the right place to request help, if not please scrub this topic and point me in the right direction..

I am working on a drawing and was wondering if it is possible to create a new line of custom text on a dimension. I want the dimension to read the distance and then under that text I want to add some custom text.
Also, does archicad have a revolve or lathe tool?
I believe it is possible to extrude with the aid of complex profiles and I have experimented and it seems OK.
Lastly, for this session anyway

IE, If I had a wall that had several walls butting into it as well as some objects against that wall and I wanted to move that wall 2 meters back can I just stretch all the object nodes at once, rather than move & stretch each object individually??
10 years of autocad / studio max I'm finding this cross-over quite challenging...
All help would be appreciated..

MaX_MaD wrote:You can stretch walls and polygonal elements (roofs, slabs, meshes) with the marquee tool. The light marquee stretches the current floor plan elements, the heavy marquee stretches all the stories. Objects are not stretched with this method, just moved, so they will have to be adjusted individually.
Lastly, for this session anyway, is it possible to stretch multiple objects at once.

... and the rest:
lathe and revolve objects (lib parts) can be done using the Profiler, that you should download (Help/Goodies) and install.
text under the dimension can be input manually, or you can use Alternative dimensions function and then edit the alternative dimension to what you want.
