Floor plan cut plane settings?

Hi guys,
I'm on a roll this week!!... Thought I could just fit this last question in seeing as its Friday
I did a quick search before posting this thread, but found no joy there.

I want to draw up 3 horizontal sections through some kitchen cabinets and thought it would make sense to use the Floor PLan Cut Plane settings at three different heights to achieve this.

I have 3 plan views in my View map and thought I could adjust the FPCP settings individually and get my 3 sections.

However, adjusting the values doesn't seem to make any difference to what I see apart from the walls? I put 3 different height walls and they seem to register the change but the slabs I used for my cabinets shoe no change.
I tried to set a cup plane higher than the floor to see if the floor disappeared but it didn't seem to make a difference either?

Also I set the height to 750mm from floor and my overhead cupboards were still in view?

Have a great weekend

thanks Tony

Objects don't have that ability do they?
Only walls (including doors & windows), columns, beams and roofs.

AFAIR some do ... but then, it might have been the 11 beta.

My brain is fried ... and too old ... 😉
