As of this morning, I can no longer open ArchiCAD. The License Manager Tool cannot find any of my licenses. They are not available for download. I can see the Software keys, and the serial numbers. But there is nothing there for the License Manager to activate.
Where in my computer WAS what it can't find? It seems to me that it should always be available for me to download when I need it.
Operating system used: Windows 10 Pro
ArchiCAD 25 7000 USA - Windows 10 Pro 64x - Dell 7720 64 GB 2400MHz ECC - Xeon E3 1535M v6 4.20GHz - (2) 1TB M.2 PCIe Class 50 SSD's - 17.3" UHD IPS (3840x2160) - Nvidia Quadro P5000 16GB GDDR5 - Maxwell Studio/Render 5.2.1.49- Multilight 2 - Adobe Acrobat Pro - ArchiCAD 6 -25

I will look that up some time and let you know. Seems like it was in a Frequently Asked Questions section or a topic about the LMT.
Good news though. Another victory for Tech support and my VERY GOOD local reseller. I am back up and running again 🙂
Many things were tried but what seems to have been the fix was to delete ArchiCAD and ALL of its parts from the computer, registry included. There were way toooo many things in the registry from old versions of the program, beta stuff, demo versions....
I also purged the computer of all traces I could find of any Norton Security stuff. So with no trace of any ArchiCAD on the computer (as near as I could tell) I re-installed ArchiCAD which also installs a default LMT. It worked fine. So I updated to the latest version of the program - left the LMT alone and it seems to work just fine. Now I will add back a few of the Norton things one at a time. I need some of them, most of it was just redundant junk cluttering things up.
The most important factor ( i think) is that the Norton Security stuf optomised my Start Up programs and shutt off what ever sort of Codemeter/WIBU stuff was needed to run my ArchiCAD progam.
I don't have a USB Code Meter anymore, but apprerently I do still have a need for the Digital Code Meter and it needs to be up and running before I stary ArchiCAD. That could have been the entire problem. ?
This is for Tracie and Michelle who helped me.

You should contact your local reseller, they are the ones who can help you with this.

I did contact my very good/expert reseller yesterday morning. Who set to work on it immediately. I signed a paper saying my software key has been destroyed, and it was sent on to GS. They may charge me for replacing it. ?
No response from GS yet. They will probably not look into it until Monday. These things never happen at a good time. I am really under a lot of pressure to get some important work done.
I am hoping that there might be a way to restore a computer backup or something to when the program was working.
Also, I do not know how to confirm that the software license in not on my computer somewhere. I don't know where to look for it. It is probably in some kind of container file. For all I know, it's not missing or damaged data on my computer just misplaced or something. It could be missing data from the GS website that is supposed to have my licensing data available for download. It is simply not there when I try to access it through the Licensing Manager Tool. Isn't the main idea for the Licensing Tool to be a place where I can download licenses I need to run the program ? Worked fine when I shut down Thursday night, did not work Friday morning when I tried to open ArchiCAD again. Nothing I know of was done to my computer configurations over night while the computer was turned off. Any changes that may have happened must have happened when I re-started. Possibly some Windows or other automatic updates. In any case, I am trying to figure it out as soon as possible - while I am waiting for GS to respond to my reseller, or me. I have posted this because perhaps there is someone who has had a similar situation that they resolved themselves. Step one - where is this software key file supposed to be located on my computer? And why is it no available for download when I need it ?

Sorry, I never used a software license so I don't even have any idea of what could be wrong. Hopefully, your reseller will be able to sort it out quickly.
Sunday
Your signature says Archicad 25.
Have yo ever applied the License Manager security update?
Barry.

Yes, still on ArchiCAD 25 and its fully updated. I have no plans to ever "upgrade" again. Nothing I am doing with ArchiCAD has changed in the past 5 years or so and I am trying to retire. I can deal with the problems 25 still has just as well (I figure) as the problems the newer versions of the program have - if not better.
So if my "virtual repository" has no licenses in it when accessed with a fully functional LMT - perhaps this is not a problem with the software key on my computer ?
I suspect that if the software key ( where ever that is) has been deleted, damaged, or disabled - it could be something automatically done by my Norton apps. I recently implemented a trial version that included several new features - including scans for invasive files, security risks, unnecessary files..... It probably did not like the way ArchiCAD occasionally requires a login- who knows what else the Security Software finds risky about using ArchiCAD and its rather mysterious licensing and software key systems.
In any case - I am dead in the water, and trying to find out if there is anything I can do on my end to get it working again.

I have the licenses showing as available for download now in my LMT. So gettiing closer to the fix.
The problem now is probably from fussing with everything trying to find a way to make it work, rather than waiting for the help.
Trying a complete re-install of ArchiCAD now with all updates for version 25 and the correct LMT.
