SSA vs Subscription

Graphisoft can you just please send me my options and what the difference/cost is between SSA and Subscription? I have been using AchiCAD since version 5.0 and I honestly thought I was on a Subscription basis until the ai function would not work in version 28v and I was told I didn’t have a subscription… I had SSA, that was news to me. Now I am getting all these emails about how I qualify for some subscription “deal” in the month of May, but no explanation of costs nor features. Can you please quit wasting my time and just tell me what my options are? This should not be that difficult.

I sense that as a longtime user I will be going elsewhere for software....

It is beyond maddening that Graphisoft is holding the longtime users hostage over a few updates that are finally meaningful (AI), when we have been paying for years and years of upgrades that have no bearing on conventional architectural practices nor work without glitches because they were rushed to market and not properly vetted. As a Mac Using Solo Practitioner it is obvious Graphisoft has abandoned our platform and demographic, just like AIA. Graphisoft, name one other beneficial feature that has been withheld from SSA customers...

You are only 6 months late to the party... SSA was always just a support agreement, which just so happened to include an upgrade to the next version. Since I started using AC at v17, that is how I have understood the wording. If it was written differently prior to that I would not have a clue. Basically, if you stopped paying SSA, you would just remain on your last version, being a "perpetual" licence, and would have no access to GS technical support a few select libraries depending on your region and the free basic lessons on the Learn Portal. As of the start of this year, AC has gone subscription only, at a higher price than the SSA, and several features that rely on the cloud have been excluded from the those not on the new subscription model.

Everyone who was on a SSA was given the option to continue receiving it for the next few years given paying it all upfront... or transfering over to Subscription at a discount which incrementally reduces each year.
