Switch from Trial to company license

Good morning from sunny Vancouver in BC Canada.

I work remotely and downloaded a trial version of AC to get started with a new company. They sent me a license number but I can't figure out where to plug it into the License Manager.

Any advise is appreciate.

The license number is added during installation so basically you need to uninstall the Trial version and reinstall.

Remember that anything done with the Trial version will be lost when doing this. The only way to convert from Trial to Commercial is to buy a license directly from that installed Trial, nothing else will work.

Thank you for the response. But please clarify what you mean by "anything done with the Trial version will be lost".

Does this mean my .pln files are unusable by any other license? That can't be right. Tell me it's not true?

I've been informed that this changed with the new licensing scheme so you are safe there.

At a minimum in AC26 and earlier files were locked to that particular install.

Get in touch with your GS tech support and they can help you with the switch over.
