License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Trouble loading textures

HI!

I'm having trouble loading textures. They show up in library when I "drag" or "add" them, but then they disappear.

I have the free student version of AC 10. Could that be the problem?

Thanks for your help!

Archicad manages a complex database that interferes with adding content, like textures.

To register a folder in Archicad's library, use the Library Manager to locate and load it into the library. From then on that folder is included when you load the project.

Texture images can be dragged into the existing library, but for Archicad to see the data, you must reload the entire library in the Library Manager.

A way to avoid this time-consuming process is to make a bunch of dummy files as placeholders in the library and simply paste your new texture into one of them. The address is loaded already, so you can immediately begin work.

I think the biggest problem is my computer, it keeps crashing...

I tried, still not working, but it did find some textures I tried to load 2 days ago

But thank you very much for your help!

I'd like to come to New Orleans in April for the French Quarter Event. The Archicad rep for Nuorlinz is not responding to my message. Do you feel that enough members from the user group could be assembled to pay for my "LightWorks in Archicad" Seminar there?

Please, anyone in Louisiana, advise to:

I'll talk to my friends and find out. We definitely would love to have somebody as knowledgeable as you teaching us!

So far we got this 100 pages print out and our professor has a "crash and learn" technique... We're pretty much on our own.
