problems making a viaduct

Anonymous
Not applicable
hi there, iam trying to make a brick viaduct that is perforated by large brick arches. Ive tried making holes in the mesh but cant make horizontal perforations in the structure-is there a better way of doing this, either constructing it as a beam or wall with holes it it. Any help will be brilliant, thanks

Not enough information to answer without lots of speculation.

Can you post a picture of what you're trying to do? Is the slope of the viaduct sufficient that it is discernable? Curved route? Base/side construction, etc...

This looks like a job for Complex Profile. YOu'd make the viaduct section and extrude it using the wall tool, or the beam tool if inclined. Arched window openings would be your penetrations.
