If you set the Floor Plan Display setting of the door to 'Projected with overhead' you will get the frame and door panel (and handles if they show in 3D) but not the line for the door swing.
This is because 'Projected' will give you a 2D projection of what you see in 3D.
If you set the FPD to 'Symbolic' you will see what ever has been scripted in the object.
This will usually include the door swing and may or may not include the door handles - there may be an option in the settings of the door object to show the handles (or possibly Model View option settings - although I think this may be only for 3D visibility of handles).
So with 'Projected' you wont see the door swing and with 'Symbolic' it depends on how the object is scripted and what settings it has.
