3D Window Movement

After using programs like SketchUp I have become spoiled by the ability to move around my models easily with a three button mouse and the shift key. Is there a way to set ArchiCAD preferences to act similiarly in the 3D window?

Has anyone heard if changes to the navigation capabilities in the 3D window will be made to future versions of ArchiCAD? It would be nice to be able to move around as easy as other programs allow.
