3D graphic overrides

How does one go about creating a 3d graphic override? In the graphisoft bimx demo model, there is a 3d view titled "3d graphic override." My understanding of graphic overrides are only for their use in 2D drawings. Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial of how to make a 3d graphic override?

Graphic Overrides can be used on almost all Viewpoints, including the 3D Viewpoint.
The trick is that when you define an Override Style, most of the settings do not apply to 3D, only 2D. Only the "Surface" setting of the Override Style will apply to 3D, as it will override all surfaces of the overridden element with the Surface override defined.
