Not sure whether this is a hardware specific problem or a software (configuration) problem but i'll post the question here...
When working on a MacBook Pro with AC12, the OpenGL window shows the building as fractured making it near impossible to work/edit in the 3D window. see attachment - for example, I can't tell if the slab actually pokes through the wall or whether the opaque wall has accidentally been moved in front of the glazing.
Any suggestions on getting a clear 3D view in OpenGL? I've tried a variety of 3D settings but haven't really noticed a difference...
thanks

adding to my own post and now understanding that the problem lies with the ATI graphics cards in MBPs, what's the work-around? Is there a proven replacement graphics card ? really need a solution fast... thx
