I would like to ask for tips on how best to handle this....
I received cad [dwg] files from architect so I can use them for preparing interior design drawings.
I expect the cad files will be updated as the project progresses so I would need to update them accordingly.
What I typically do is to place them into worksheets and then draw the walls, doors, etc. It's ok if it just <10 different types of floor plans but this time, I have been retained to do 70 different floor plan types!
I tried to xref the dwg files but it doesn't help much. Each time I select an element, the spool keeps spinning...
Either way, it is time-consuming.
Any thoughts?
