AC11 BUGS..

When opening objects, sometimes the preview window shows nothing. It happens to me daily and I need to restart AC everytime it happens..
Are there any suggestions or is it just a very annoying bug to add in the bug box?

I have the same problems and I have tried everything imaginable. I cleared the pref/cache files...didn't help. I repaired the AC installation...didn't help. I reinstalled AC...didn't help. I've installed the latest graphics driver, reverted back to the original, etc., but still the problem re-occurs. I have a new computer that I purchased in October, and I had no problems with AC10. My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX (512mb). I wish someone had a clear cut answer. This bug is MOST annoying!

I have a similar problem - using a student version AC11 on OSX Tiger 10.4.10 on MacBook Pro 2.2:
- sometimes (8 of 10 times) AC hangs when loading Library (standard, no extras)
- it always hangs when rendering (all engines)
"hangs" meaning the color ball keeps spining and I have to force-quit AC from apple menu.

I have installed the latest 1040 hotfix. is there perhaps a caches problem or sth.? I'm new to OSX, used to be on windows and AC10 - which worked.
please help.

How much RAM do you have?

it was ShapeShifter's fault!
when disabled, AC works normally.
