I'm using AC15 US version on MAC OSX snow leopard.
Please try this and confirm if there's any bug.
*Select the Arc/Circle tool,
*Draw an Ellipse from left to right.
*you will have a faceted polygon instead of a soft ellipse.
*It is also very hard to select ( only the center hotspot is active).
*But if you select it and drag it, it will get fixed (probably due to redraw)
It doesn't happen when you draw the ellipse from right to left.

By the way there is only a "BUG ZONE" between the 45 degrees and 90 degrees...
If you draw the ellipse below 45 degrees, then the ellipse ends up fine.
