Everytime i move an object bellow zero of the story of the story the item is on it will disappear and relocate itself on the story bellow.

can i stop this from happening?

iv tried the little "home story" drop down menu in the items settings, but it will just moving it back up to the wrong height.

Moving it 5' down still keeps the slab assigned to the 2nd story, as long as you don't cross another story level.

Don't get me wrong I don't like having to use RHS command.

Well, it appears that my problem with "magic wand" is not part of this
problem but a problem nevertheless -(see previous)
I have always been able to magic wand joists to slabs and have them at the correct elevation - this appears to be a different bug with Archicad 17 as the story does not change.

ejrolon-
yup tied that and its works.. thank you
so for now (until its fixed) i have to move items in 3d then relink their story each item at a time, also in 3d (which is an utter joke).. if i try to do it in plan it will relocate the items back up to the original height.
ill probably finish this project in 17 then go back to 16 till its sorted
