I'm working on a turning stair in the latest updated version of Archicad 28. As usual, I deselect all the constraint checkboxes to freely adjust the geometry. However, even after unchecking them, the stair geometry remains constrained. When I reopen the Stair Settings window, the checkboxes are checked again, as if my changes weren’t saved. It seems like the constraints are being re-applied automatically. Is this a known issue, or has something changed in the way constraint settings are handled in AC28?

Are you talking about the Rules & Standards? I have had no issues with modifying or disabling them, in both standalone and teamwork files.

It seems like there was a temporary error that I can't quite explain. I was trying to create a stair that follows a polyline, but it wasn’t working as expected. In the end, I switched to the classic method—placing the stair point by point—and that worked fine. Since I recently updated to the latest version, I suspect something may have changed in the stair tool behavior, and I initially thought it might be a bug.
