It's not necessary to start a duplicate of the topic. Just add to the first one.

One is your model view and one is the layout, right?

If so, it looks like you have the 'cover fills' switched off in the display options of the offending view.

There's sort of an overlap of display settings in model versus layout views.. BOTH need to be set to the desired settings independently.

What type of elements are the "pipes"?

The elements (pipes) are
Special Construction 11
Cylinder Shells to simulate bamboo, they work great for modeling.

There does not appear to be a 'cover fill' option for these objects.
normally it's in Floor Plan and Section.
