Annoyances with Detail Markers

I have tried using the linked Detail markers (I'm interested in the Detail Part markers) in plan views, but I:

1) Can't them to rotate to the vertical orientation.
2) I can't flip them to the horizontal orientation pointing down.
3) The Detail Part Marker_NCS11 doesn't have a separator line between 1st & 2nd lines of text, and looks terrible. (Not like the preview.)

I could certainly use a "dumb" marker, but then I wouldn't get the linking. I guess I can use the section marker, but it seems like the wrong tool. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the club
Totally Broken as previously mentioned

archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=17037

I want/NEED the flexibility of the previous markers that worked in AC10, 09 and even 08. At this point I am using AC11 with the 10 libraries.

Now that the Markers are "Intelligent" they have decided that the way we want to use them is against their beliefs and they are in full revolt.

I wonder if this is a USA (NCS) specific problem? The INT version 'Built in Marker' works wonderfully

Can you extract it from the library and post it to try?

Sure. Please find it attached.

(For the record, I just opened the part and saved it out - much easier than extracting IMHO).

Cheers,

Sadly it behaves in the same way and it does not solve my prob. Look at the screeshots on the previously linked post.

So how many times do you have to tell your students to read the question?

Guess you'll have to use the AC10 detail markers until it's fixed.

(Still looking forward to hearing from you.)

Cheers,

Let's hope that it is fixable, since somebody decided to change the code, the one in the AC10 Subset does not show the links to the drawings and the new one is not very flexible.

Link,

Thanks for that, but that's not the detail marker that's giving me trouble. I'm trying to get a marker like the attached, but able to be rotated.
