Arabic, Syriac Texts

Kikoria
Enthusiast

Hi. I am using ARCHICAD 25, I tried to use Syriac texts and there were two logic troubles that I was expecting.

First issue:

The first one is the typing mode. When I type it is typing from right to left direction and of course the words are mirrored, but when I finish typing and place the text, it turns out okay. For example, if I want to type ABCD in the typing mode it shows me DCBA, but after placing it is getting normal display (ABCD).

Text before placing:

The same text after placing:

Please reach out if the solution is possible in this case, but if not, it's okay. I can type this way, because the final result is correct.

The second issue:

The second one is about the vowel systems. If there are Arabic architects who use Arabic scripts, they'll understand it. Well, there are two vowel systems: Dot system and Greek vowel system, which is written above and below the letter. In the typing mode they look correct, but after placing, they are narrowed to the letter level.

Here's how they look before placing:

And this happens after placing it:

What happens when you go to edit the text again?

When I edit the text again the same thing happens. It shows me the mirrored text with correct vowel systems. When I place it back the letters become correct while the vowel signs change the position.
