Dear ArchiCAD-Talkers,

We have released Hotfix 1114 for ArchiCAD 11 INT and USA version. It applies to Commercial, Trial and Educational licenses. Before installing the Hotfix, please take a moment to read the Release Notes! To download the Hotfix, please use "Check for updates..." command in Help menu.

Important note for MAC users: We don't recommend upgrading your system to MAC OS 10.5 due to a problem of the WIBU Server Software version 5.20 on MAC OS 10.5. We will make the new WIBU Server Software available as soon as it passes the QC test.

It shouldn't be a problem. Don't worry about it unless something comes up. If you want to be extra safe, backup the project folder to a CD or DVD.

On installation of this Hotfix to ArchiCAD 11-Build 1040, ArchiCAD 11 wouldn't run on my system. Instead, I get the following error:

ArchiCAD.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point
?CopyElemData@Project@ED@@QAEPAVIElemDatabase@2@ABV32@ABVSelElemTable@2@_N2@Z could not
be located in the dynamic link library ElementManager.dll

Please help.

Welcome to ac-talk. If you are indeed located in Nigeria, do not put USA as your location in your profile. Click the Profile button at the top of the page and correct it please.

I cannot imagine why the hotfix installation failed in the way that you described, but I think your only option is to re-install AC from the CD/DVD and then apply the hotfix to the clean installation.

Cheers,
Karl

And, if you are installing hotfixes, then you will be better off installing the latest hotfix. In ArchiCAD, check the Help\Check for updates menu item. It will take you to the web page from which you can download the latest hotfix.

I just installed the 1114 update and noticed that the info box for the Archicad program still shows the 1112 build number. If you actually start Archicad and go to "About Archicad" the correct build number shows up.

Millard,

That doesn't occur on my copy. You must have the AC 1114 Special Edition.
