License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Some of you (depending on where you are in the world) will be getting discs with the new software on it any day now, and the rest of us will be receiving ours in the coming weeks.

The chatter for this new version seems very quiet. Do all the Beta testers have their own private section of the forum these days?

Now that the new version has been released , I was presuming that Beta testers would be free from any Non disclosure / gagging orders , It would be really interesting to hear real world feedback on the new version.

The real news would be a software that works in the basically functions.

Very unnecessary to chatter when GS put videos of every single thing in their site. Also it cuts both ways if we were mad about it we would be definitively posting our gripes here.

Eduardo - The videos are great, but at the end of the day - they are marketing tools. I would rather hear from people who are using these new tools on a daily basis and from people who like to chatter i.e. people who have submitted over 2299 posts

Why ArchiCAD 17 is not ready yet to download via myarchicad.com ? Today is June 6, 2013. Why ? I think that Graphisoft is too slow to serve its clients around the globe !

From the press release:
ArchiCAD 17 will be released on June 1, 2013, with shipment to customers beginning within a few weeks of the official release. Following a tight release schedule, all 26 local versions are planned to reach the market by the end of Q3 2013.
They never said shipment to customers or download available on June 1...

The June 1 date is, I think, a very last-century concept of "release to manufacturing" ... back when the gold master disks would be sent to be duplicated, boxed, etc. I suppose car manufacturer's still use dates like that? (Don't know.) We old-timers know that the date is not the date that we'll get the box or the download ... but rather the "within a few weeks" listed in the press release.

But, I agree with your frustration that in the digital download age, when we hear June 1, we would expect a download site to be open on that day. Graphisoft marketing might want to re-think the dates in press releases in the future to avoid confusion and keep customers happy. My 2 cents, based on your and a few other comments in other threads.

Since they never said they'd ship on June 1, please try to be patient. They'll announce when 17 is available on myarchicad.

I stop working on a design to wait for ArchiCAD 17 before starting again... I can't wait for ArchiCAD 17 anymore... Please do the necessary. I only need to download it via myarchicad.com. Thanks!

September 30 ? What does that means ? It seems that Graphisoft is not ready yet to invade all of the continent of America... I think that September 30 is too late as an ArchiPlus Subscriber... ArchiCAD is a great software but Graphisoft can't enter competing with some markets around the Globe like Autodesk, etc.
