Has anyone had this problem, or can suggest why it is occurring. My machine does not have this problem.

There are a few things I'm finding Archicad 10 very slow at compared to 9 and Copy is one of them. I thought perhaps it was just my machine or files, but 10 is now being rolled out through the office and other people are saying the same thing.
It is so slow to copy it regularly brings up that hated OS X symbol 'The Rainbow Pizza' for a second or so. If I Alt-Tab to a different application before Archicad finishes copying to the clipboard it appears to cancels the copy process (at least I when I paste I get the old clipboard contents).
[Edit: Removed a question about Add-Ons ... just discovered the problem is happening on fresh AC installs with no Add-ons yet]

There are, for me several different conditions that create what appears to be a slower copy or update situation: Updating very large transitional files (from 9) and copying similar elements, i.e. sections full of fills etc, or lots of individual component parts - railings and screens. So the assesment of speed has more to do with too many outside factors than just the generalization of " its slow" or "slower" than previous. In order to corrrectly find out the absolute timing of operations, put a stopwatch on the same function and then lets find out the specifics. I have had the same feelings in the past and finally gave up and started the stopwatch thing to prove (or disprove) the reality. So far I have had some crashes and slowdowns that have totally frustrated me - so am sympathetic to the feelings of the program. If there is a particular file or operation that can be isollated and checked -- lets find out.
