Archicad 9SE Library-Door Material Issues

I must be doing something wrong but I am baffled. When I place a door and I want the door to open to the inside, I set the door under the custom settings parameters to opne inside.

The weird thing is I have to click on the outside of my wall when placing the door to get the swings to go inside.

Then the materials are aopposite. When using different materials for the inside and outside (say when I want to paint the outside of the door one color and the inside a different color) I have to set the interior panel color to be the material I want the color I want for the exterior and vice versa in order to get it to show correctly in 3d.

Anyone else encountered this?

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

I don't know if it makes any difference that your in Greece since you may have a different version, so I would try to figure that one out.

The library I am referring to us at:

http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/library_updates/usaSE.html

Hope this helps
