Hi everyone,
I am using ArchiCAD 27 and am experiencing an issue with the zoning selection in the floor plan. When selecting a zoning category from the drop-down menu, I am unable to find a way to sort by categories, either by code or by name. In the attribute management window, they seem to sort correctly by code or name, but this doesn't reflect in the drop-down menu. This makes it difficult to find the desired zoning category. I would appreciate any help in understanding how the zone category sorting works and how to resolve this issue. See the screenshot to illustrate.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

In the zone tool (where you choose the zone category you want to place), I believe the list is sorted by the Category Code, and it seems there is no way to sort this list any other way.
There is no search field to be able to narrow the list either.

Dear Barry,
Thank you for your response. I had the same impression and it seems so. However, it does not filter by only the code and not the name. I guess that I have to type the name of the zone I need to filter the list.
Thank you again for your help.
Best regards, [Your Name]

I think you will find it is all alphabetical order based on the category code.
It seems some codes are just a double space.
One is a single space (or maybe nothing at all).
Others have hyphens and the rest letters.
