Each time I try to "auto-roof" this shape, it tells me it is invalid/intersecting... but its not...
It is a bit weird...
I can make the roof manually, but I am keen to know why this particular shape wont work..
I have made hundreds of other shapes, some very weird and have never ever had a problem (unless it was justified) so I am mystified as to why this particular shape wont work...
I was able to get this to work when the the roof slope is set to 45 degrees during the roof generation process. When I used 25 degrees and 35 degrees, I got an error message and the image on the right. I was able to change the slope to 25 degrees after generating the roofs with a 45 degree slope (image on left). I don't know why the lower slope setting creates the problem. Hope this helps.

See below...
Weird thing is, I did this on another computer and it worked the first time, then I did it again at 25 degrees..... tried and sure enough the message came up...
I changed it back to 45 degrees.... guess what.... message came up...
