sorry, but I don't understand your "ironic" answer.

are you really veteran and senior members of this forum ?

Please, next time that you try to help somebody do it seriously or stay in silence.
Thanks

Hi Pendu

When you launch install, it unpack files to temporary folder, then launch setup.

When you choose folder for installation files, check if there is enough of disk space. Then uncheck 'Delete installation files' and start unpacking.
If nothing happens (setup must be launched automatically), go to folder where you unpacked files and launch Setup.exe from there.

If no luck - check JVM (Java) installation, try to uninstall Java and install latest version from JVM folder (where you unpacked files).

Thank you GAG. I think the problem is related to JAVA.

RE: Joke Answers.

Like, the question DID beg for that comeback in view of the disappointment and cynicism rampant on the forum.

Almost fell for it myself.

And you, grow a sense of humor. Technical problems come up all the time. It helps to at least laugh once in a while.

i had this great sketch of the process of buddhist enlightenment once but i can't find it now to attach here. it was like a cartoon in three stages: the first and last sketches were identical views of the world depicting before and after enlightenment, the middle was a bright flash of light: enlightenment itself.

the point? nothing appears to have changed after the "experience". it's how YOU see it that makes the difference . . .

now. time to sort that java out. mine's a long black with no sugar thanks.
