Beginner's window problem

When I create a window on one wall in this turret window area, the window tool insists on extending the window over onto the opposite wall. This happens wherever there is an opposite wall. so for example the window to the bottom left is fine because opposite it is a door opening, but the one at the very bottom doesn't work properly.
Something to do with the room shape I guess, but I'm afraid my knowledge is so basic I can't work this one out.
But I'm so excited by Archicad. It's such a joy to get better at things.

If the entire turret was created from one Polygonal Wall, the Window passes through the entire Wall. You can Split the Wall into smaller segments to deal with this issue.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
