Building Materials Priorities not working for Doors/Windows

Hi All,

We are having difficulties with building material priorities in relation to our Cadimage Doors/Windows.
We are finding the floor finish on our slab composite is not cutting through the door/window section (see image).

The difficult thing we are finding is pinpointing what the actual building material is for the door/window. It has options of surface overrides (for each element, sill, frame, leaf etc.), and fills applied in section. If we go with 'use material' for the door/window it makes the whole thing from one material (so no differentiation between glazed panels and frames).

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Doors and windows are objects and objects do not use Building Materials.
They only have surfaces as you noted.

Have a look at how your wall interacts with the slab without any door or window.

If your door/windows have sills and trims/architraves you may find that the floor finishes may pass through them but they should be cut by the wall.

Thanks Barry - that's exactly what it is doing - so I suppose the architraves will just have to overlap the floor finishes and hopefully not be too obvious at 1:100.
