Like this?

The last thing you do after you have build your wall and the too roof is :

Open 3d view
Select wall
Rightclick
Use Trim to roof

(If you use SEO instead of Trim to roof, you have to put your cuttingroof in a layer that you hide. If you use Trim to roof you could erase this roof if you don't need it anymore.)

It is even feasible to do this with an opening. The image attached is just the W Rhombus Opening 11, but if you had your own custom GDL object it would give you much better control both in 3D and in plan.

This method is ofcause to recommend, but than you need some knowledge in GDL.

And Whatever, you shouldn't think ArchiCad, you should be one with ArchiCad, I always sleep with my ArchiCad up and running next to bed

i seem to recall seeing an 'Angled Wall End' object kicking around at some point. it's not in the standard library and i can't remember where i saw it.
I'll search for that too, maybe it could be useful sometimes...

Well of course - or you could get someone to make it for you. The benefit is that you have one simple placement of a single object for each end of the wall, with predictable and stable results. If Scrat needs to model a building like the Burj Al Arab hotel in his avatar, then all those SEO's will simply overload his project.

I don't want to make Burj Al Arab (I even didn't know that is posible in ArchiCad )

Actually I want to make something like this... (3ds)

Oh, well if you don't need doors, windows or healing with other elements, this would be much easier using the mesh tool. Depends on what it's for really.

And if that shape have several floors, a complete building, than it isn't hard to make with walls and a big roof.

I will use doors and windows (somehow ) and, TurboGlider, that's the best way to make this shape 🙂
