Can't use Drafting Aids

I have recently got back to Archicad and am currently using 27 and 28 in Edu version. After importing a Rhino model into an Archicad file, I have noticed I can't use Drafting aids correctly: the parallele and perpendicular tool only allows me to draw vertical and horizontal lines (V and H to the screen). I can't get around it: I wonder what may be causing it. I have checked all constrains and I can't understand the reason for this strange behaviour. In the image I want to draw a line parallel to the entry wall but when I click on // this is the only line I can draw. Can anyone help me? I am obviously missing something here 🤔 I have attached both a screengrab of the problem and the original file I am working on. (the same behaviour happens in AC27).

Any help would be appreciated, thans.

I have found the culprit: Autohide Snap Points was on in Input Constrain and Guides!
