Can't you automatically rebuild from model in section view?

The toggle for the auto update is on the bottom right of the screen.  Pretty sure it's on by default

Select Disable background updating
You are saying that if you select Auto-rebuild model, it will be updated automatically.

my apologies, the first image was misleading with where my mouse was, you want background updating turned on.

but in the section settings you will find the 2nd picture.
