Also I cannot see how to save my AC10 file down to AC9. I could create the drawing either way.

Can't help you with the first one, but you can save down to AC9 by "Save As..." and select Save as type "Archicad 9 Project". Unless you are trying to convert to PlotMaker, which I do not think is possible???

Talked to graphisoft about both issues. It seems that the first issue (Not being able to open an AC9 layout book) is a bug with the Intel version of AC10. The second issue (not being able to save down to AC9) is a designed response to AC9 not being supported on Intel Macs. Beware you will not be able to save down if you go exclusively with Intel machines.

There still is not an update for this issue. As we continue to migrate to intel machines this will become a major problem. Any word from graphisoft for correcting this major bug?

Is this a single sheet or the whole book? I am sure you have been all over this, but have other users tried to open your file? I haven't encountered this issue yet. My LBK files show as 'unix executables' but they have opened fine on my mactel iMac.

It's both, the AC9 layout book is greyed out on the macintel. I've spoken with graphisoft and it is a bug with AC9 layouts that contain PMK's.

Weird, mine just look like this (loaded with PMK's - note, this one is 380MB - but they open alright)
Keep us up to date about when they fix the bug, or what the cause is/was....

We are having the same issue, none of our new intel machines can open plotmaker 9 files. This is a major major bug.
