Centering a freestanding wall

Is there a trick to centering a freestanding wall in the middle of the wall? See screenshot below. I'm sure there's a command I don't know for that.

Thx a lot.

I would place a guide segment just away from the side of the wall a little.
Then select the wall and drag from the centre of the wall (and constrain vertically using the SHIFT key) to the centre of the guide segment.

You could even use another existing wall off to the side rather than a guide segment if you set your special snap points to 'between intersections' and the walls off to the sides intersect with the horizontal walls you want to centre between.

Hello, If I understood fine what you want, besides what Barry told you another way to do it is using the Distribute tools of archicad as shown in these links.
I have then in out in my work environment but you can find them in the Menu Edit > Distribute

Marc:

This is how I would do it:
1. Set Special Snap Points to Half (default setting for me).
2. Hover the cursor near the mid-point of the Wall to get the Special Snap Point at the middle of the Wall, set the cursor to that point (check mark icon), issue Drag command, click on this Special Snap Point of Wall.
3. Issue the Snap Point Constraint command and let the Snap Guide intersect the perpendicular walls, and click on these two points to set the mid-point of the Wall halfway between the two perpendicular walls.
One of those operations that looks complicated when written out but is simple and fast once the commands are learned (and the corresponding keyboard shortcuts are set).

This is something new to me as I noticed my cursor snap is always greyed out. I get my magic wand when pressing space bar. Is there a way to activate cursor snap?
