There is an object called Treilleges here:

I usually use a simple guardrail object from AC library, and combine it with this object to make it look like a chainlink fence.

It sounds like you are looking for an alpha-masked photorendering material to apply to a wall surface so that it looks like chainlink in a render (and has almost no polygons)?

If so, the ArchiCAD libraries have a tileable texture called "Fence Chainlink alpha.png" in the "[TImg] Textures <version>" subfolder. (It was a tif in early versions.)

I'm attaching a reduced version of a much better texture image in case that is what you're looking for. (Full file with alpha mask is licensed and huge.)


Or, did you mean an object such as in the link that Dennis provided?
