Change stair breakline settings for different views

On our general floor plans we want to show stairs with a break line, which is fine and we can set up exactly as we want. However, we want to also produce stair fabrication drawings that show a complete stair construction on one view, so without any break line. As far as I can tell there is no way of modifying break lines outset of the stair object settings, so there's no way to do this?

Would the only work around be duplicate stairs on a separate layer that is only shown on stair fabrication drawings? Or I suppose compositing views on the layout page, with the border cropped along the break line?

Thanks for any help,

if you have your stair break line set to 'floor plan cut plane height' then you could save a view with the cut plane at/above the top of the stairs, to show it without a break.

It is strange that you can control the visibility for just about everything to do with the stairs in the Model View Options, except the break line.

I assume because it also affects the hidden / visible display of the stair.

Setting the FPC height above the stairs as @MitchD suggested, might be your best option.
