Commode Step: The bottom step of a flight of steps, the end of the step being curved.

Is there a way to use ArchiStair 1.0 to model a set of stairs that start (end) with a commode step. ArchiStair can model a step that is curved across it's entire width but is ther a way to get it to model a step as shown in the image below?

Is there an alternate way to model a stair with a step that is curved or rounded on one side?

I'm not sure about ArchiStair, but I'm pretty sure Niel McCann's D3 SmartParts library has objects (subassemblies) that can be assembled to create that stair. It's not as convenient as the single element of ArchiStair but it sure beats building the stair out of bits and pieces (as I have done on occasion).

If all else fails.....Model the first step as a slab.... then, start the stair from the slab?

Hi Tom, are you viewing the Manual from a PDF or do you have a Bound "real" copy of the Manual?

I am looking to get a hold of a printed Bound manual.

Just the PDF I'm afraid. A hardcopy would be nice though...
