Extending window trims

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,
I'm using the standard Archicad window library, and am trying to make my window trim drop all the way to the ground, so that when I have the Parapet Wall Inset switched on, it looks correct. Is there any way to do this?
The SE Library maybe?

Since my explanation's a bit dodgy, here's a picture:

Unless there is some tricky way to get the casings to extend below the window unit (which i very much doubt) you probably can't do it in the library part.

The quick and dirty method would be to turn the casings off and simulate them with a thicker chunk of wall in a larger opening.

Just a suggestion....I am not sure it will work, I haven't test it.
Perhaps you can use a door on top of your window.
Switch off the window casing.
Show the door casing and set the door panel type to empty (none).
You will also have to create the sill wall of the window.

Thanks Petros, I tried your way, but got the door showing on both sides of my wall. So have done a slight variation - creating another wall that fits into my window recess, and then putting in a panel-less door.
