Complex Profile

Hi, 

Is there anyway to hide a part of a complex profile? In plan I want to dimension just the core of Finish, however I have a flashing that caps the top of the wall that I don't want to dimension too.

Unfortunately I find that the more BIM my projects need to be, the less intelligent the modelling becomes. I quite often need to be able to classify finishes or trim or whatever you want to call them as something else than the wall they 'belong' to.

However, often you can select multiple elements and offset them at the same time. So multiple walls or walls and beams together or slabs and roofs together etc etc. Just make sure that edges are in the same spot and let building material priorities clean up intersections.
