Complex wall profile: External surface override not available

Hi All,

I'd like to be able to override the external surface of my complex profile walls without having to duplicate the complex profile. Screen shot show that this override is greyed out. Thoughts?

Thanks

It has always been this way with complex profiles because they can be any shape - not just a vertical wall with an inside and outside face.
Because there is no real inside or outside, all longitudinal surfaces are treated as one and you have separate control of just the ends.

So yes unfortunately you have to duplicate your profile.

You are unable to do this via the Surface Override dialogue as interior and exterior are not defined when creating Complex Profiles resulting in the only options being side and face. It is possible to achieve it visually by using the Profile Modifiers that became available in AC22 though it is a bit fiddly. Do not recall there being a workaround prior to AC22...
